Danielle Jones, CEO and President

Before establishing AWD in 2007, Danielle served seven years as Vice President, Southeast Region for an information technology company responsible for business development and program management. More than 12 years of her work experience was gained as a federal employee - 10 years with the US Department of Energy holding various positions including Personnel Specialist, Deputy Director, Public Information Office and Small Business Program Manager. During her tenure as SB Program Manager, Danielle was asked to chair an ad hoc committee formed by then Secretary of Energy, Hazel O’Leary to improve the small business program throughout the agency. Danielle left DOE in 1996 and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she led projects for the Martin Luther King Holiday Commission as Director, Public Affairs and the US Census Bureau’s 2000 Decennial coordinating governmental affairs, media relations and community outreach efforts. Danielle holds a B.S. Degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Belita Elmore, Program Manager/Business Development

Belita Elmore is a Program Manager and Team Lead for Administrative Services. She is responsible for managing three separate contracts with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, employee relations, management of benefit providers and business development. Prior to joining AWD in September 2009, Belita amassed over 13 years of experience in marketing, product management, public relations and customer relations in the banking industry and academia. Her employment history includes stints at Provident Bank and Emory University. Belita holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.

Tony Hart, Project Manager/Emergency Management

Tony is the Project Manager for the Department of Energy Oak Ridge Office (ORO) Emergency Management Team. As a commissioned officer in the U. S. Coast Guard he served as the Chair of the Regional Response Team including serving on the Federal On-Scene Coordinator’s staff for the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill into Prince William Sound. Following his military career he worked in the Environmental Compliance program at the DOE East Tennessee Technology Park (ETTP). In his role as the Emergency Management Program Manager, he has been responsible for implementing the emergency management program at ETTP and projects located at the Y-12 National Security Complex and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Additionally, he has served as the Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) Coordinator for the ETTP. Tony holds a B.S. in Management from the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut and a M.S. in Transportation Engineering from Seattle University in Seattle, Washington.

Victor Thomas, Chief Operations Officer

For nearly two and a half decades as a Life Sciences industry professional, Victor has provided third-party oversight, process development, process improvement, change management, business planning and computer systems validation experience to healthcare and pharmaceutical companies that are either facing or are under a Consent Decree. Victor’s diverse experience, which also includes coaching, mentoring and team building in a GxP environment, has enabled his clients to successfully address regulatory challenges and operate in a more streamlined, compliant and cost-effective manner. A veteran of the US Navy, Victor holds a Master of Science (Equivalent) in Nuclear Engineering and a B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Cynthia Harris, Administrative Officer 

Cynthia Harris joined AWD in February 2013. With more than 14 years of Administrative and Project Management experience, Cynthia manages the day-to-day operations of the corporate office including accounts payables, timekeeping and records management. Cynthia recently relocated to Atlanta from the Metro DC area. Her most recent experience includes the Executive Assistant to the Vice President at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, where she was responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of several departments, which included Procurement, Risk Management, Concessions and Equal Opportunity Programs. Before joining the Airports Authority, she was the Assistant Project Manager at Denison Parking, which encompassed acting as the quality assurance agent for cash revenues of $4.7 million dollars per year in multiple locations in DC, Atlanta and Miami. Cynthia holds a BS in Psychology/Behavioral Analysis, AS in Paralegal Studies and is currently pursuing her MSM/Human Resources and CRM designation in Records Management.

Regina Walker, Executive Assistant

Regina’s main focus is providing administrative support to the CEO, coordinating efforts with all corporate staff and acting as a liaison and spokesperson for internal and external inquiries on behalf of the CEO. She brings 13 years of experience in administrative roles in primary and higher education, retail, as well as with federal government agencies and contractors. Prior to AWD, Regina worked for a privately-owned federal government contractor as the Project Manager for Administrative Services contracts for the US General Services Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She holds a BS degree in Human Ecology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Donna Jones, Marketing Specialist 

Donna started her AWD career as a high school intern in 2010 responsible for general office administrative support. She attended Georgia Southern University and majored in Journalism where she also gained experience in IT Communications. After graduating, Donna started working full-time for AWD as the marketing assistant. She is responsible for all social media and the AWD website. 

Wesley Jones, Office Clerk

Wesley began his AWD career in 2007 as a general office clerk supporting the corporate office and is currently responsible for mail, supply room management and file support.
