General Clerk, Battle Mountain, NV

AWD Management Services, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals for potential employment opportunity for a part-time position, working 30 hours a week with Bureau of Land Management, Battle Mountain District Office.

This position requires a Federal Clearance Investigation, candidates must be able to receive favorable/pass required Federal Clearance before start of employment.

Candidates are expected to display a high standard in dress, appearance and professional conduct to include strong oral communication skills; written communication and organizational skills are also expected. The contractor is expected to be able to demonstrate working knowledge of office technology to include, computers and software such as MS Word, Excel and copy/fax machines.

Candidates can expect to perform various administrative duties including:

  • receiving incoming telephone calls

  • communicating with the public

  • handling inquiries

  • providing information to the public

  • money handling

  • (selling maps to the public) basic computer use

  • process travel documents, submit purchase requisitions, process incoming and outgoing mail and file routine paperwork

Salary: 

$20.50 per hour
